The extra-large fuel tray allows you to cook with wood or charcoal, delivering that unmistakable smoky flavour. For added convenience, simply attach the Karu Gas Burner (sold separately) to switch to bottled gas cooking.

Take the guesswork out of outdoor cooking with Ooni Connect™ Digital Temperature Hub. Monitor the oven’s temperature directly on the front-mounted display or track it in real-time via Bluetooth on the Ooni app. The included digital food probe ensures precision when roasting meats, so you can achieve perfect results every time.

Mastering the Flames

Cooking with the Karu 2 is all about control. The oven’s rear and chimney baffles allow you to adjust airflow and fine-tune the intensity of the flames.

• For high-temperature cooking (e.g. Neapolitan pizza, searing steaks), keep both the rear and chimney baffles fully open.
• For lower temperatures (baking, roasting), leave the rear baffle fully open and close the chimney baffle.
• For slow roasting or smoking (meats, fish), preheat with both baffles open, then close them once the oven reaches your desired temperature to trap heat and smoke.
