The center of the backyard, the hub of your outdoor living space, a barbecue not only helps you prepare an unending variety of meals but helps bring the family together.
Napoleon BBQs are designed with the intention to inspire and enhance the experience of using a BBQ. Napoleon BBQ’s continuously are thinking forward and are innovating by pushing forward a new level of quality, and performance that people deserve from a quality product.
Napoleon has something for everybody from gas grills to smokers. They have everything you need for your outdoor lifestyle. An entire outdoor kitchen experience in one unit, the LEX barbecues feature storage space, ample side shelves, and all the bells and whistles needed for amazing grilling, without the huge price.
The instant JETFIRE™ ignition lights the first time, every time. This innovative ignition system for our barbecues shoots a jet of flame to light each burner individually. Single-handed ignition of your grill is worry-free, requiring no extra batteries or effort.
With an ignition system for each burner, dependability is increased exponentially. Imagine lighting a barbecue with just a twist of the wrist.
Whether it’s for a midnight snack or barbecuing during the darker seasons, there’s nothing more challenging than trying to hold the flashlight in one hand and tongs in the other.
Napoleon knows this and has solved the problem by adding interior lighting to our barbecues and grill cabinets. The long-lasting LED lights illuminate your cooking surface for worry-free nighttime (or early morning) cooking.
Complete combustion of the perfect balance of fuel and oxygen creates a clean burn with a difference you can taste. This efficient burn is specifically tailored to the selected fuel, natural gas, or propane, and each and every Napoleon barbecue burner has been tailored to that specific fuel type.
Dual gas ports on the top and sides of each burner guarantee even heating front to back and side to side within the barbecue, producing fewer flare-ups when used.
The first thing you will notice about our cooking grids is that they are like no other. The iconic wave shape isn’t just for looks or the iconic sear marks though. The wavy shape has many purposes.
It encourages even heating and provides more surface area. The distinctive curve prevents smaller food from falling through, keeping your grill cleaner. Most importantly, this shape increases the longevity of our grill grates by allowing for heat expansion and contraction. It reduces the effect that the forces heat and cold have on the metal ensuring lasting endurance.
Using the charcoal tray is as easy as lighting your gas barbecue. Remove the grids and sear plates over the burners, add the tray, fill with hardwood lump charcoal, and light the burners. The gas burners will quickly light the charcoal. Replace the cooking grids on your barbecue and wait until the charcoal ashes over. Now you’re grilling with charcoal!
Using the charcoal tray can be amazingly fun and will allow you to get creative with your recipes. Not only can you add the fun and flavor of charcoal to your meals while using a gas barbecue, but imagine doubling or even tripling that flavor by adding wood chips and chunks and creating the delightful smoked flavor like you would only get using a charcoal barbecue or smoker.
Having every little bit of food ready at the same time is a challenge, especially when feeding a crowd. We’ve thought of that too. You don’t need a lot of heat to keep food warm and the warming burner produces just the right amount of heat to keep things warm while making sure things don’t get overdone.
Before Napoleon, infrared grilling was something reserved for only restaurants and the wealthy. We made this technology available to the masses. Using an infrared burner when cooking on your barbecue is much more efficient at searing than using conventional tube burners. They are ideal for quick foods and side dishes as opposed to cooking at lower temperatures for longer periods. This means that they also consume less fuel. One, two-tile, infrared burner can produce up to 9000 BTUs, and foods cooked using infrared will retain up to 35% more of their natural juices.
High heat searing is how you build that flavor when barbecuing, which makes an infrared burner ideal. Reaching high temperatures of up to 1,800°F, an infrared burner can radiate enough heat to almost instantly caramelize and brown meats. This means intense sear marks and flavor.
